At Holladay Aviation, our number one priority is providing a safe, clean and secure environment for our staff to work and for our customers to learn. We treat everyone who enters our facility the same way we treat our own family. Our actions are guided by our core values and aviation industry best practices.

Safety

Safety is a team effort that requires every member of the team to exercise caution and use good judgement. Nothing we do in life is completely risk-free, so our objective is to manage risk effectively. Our aircraft are maintained above and beyond the minimum FAA standards. Our instructors are guided by company policy that ensures students are adequately challenged without being exposed to unsafe flight conditions. Customers are guided by company policy that requires thorough, recurrent training and prohibits actions that would incur unnecessary risk.

Health

Pilots are required by FAA regulation to self-certify that they are in good physical and mental condition before flying. All staff members and customers must ensure that they are healthy when entering our facility. Daily sanitation practices include frequent hand washing and disinfecting of all common surfaces in and around the office. Please use common sense and be respectful of your fellow pilots.

We are a non-smoking facility. Excessive body odors of any kind, whether from smoking, perfume or other sources, are not tolerated in our facility or in our aircraft.

Security

Security is a top priority for all aviation businesses including flight schools. All students must show proof of U.S. Citizenship, and foreign students must apply for authorization from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Our instructors are required to complete annual security awareness training. Our facility is secured by PIN-access electronic door locks, and cameras that monitor activity in the offices and hangars 24/7.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Alert

At Holladay Aviation, we consider the wearing of masks to be a health hazard and a flight safety risk, and for this reason we do not allow pilots or passengers to wear masks in our facility or while flying in our aircraft. We also consider the COVID-19 mRNA injections (commonly referred to as “vaccines”) to be a threat to flight safety. For more information, please click here.
